The Purpose of this Public Hearing was to receive public comments regarding a request for a rezone submitted by Land Owner: Tim Swift, East half of the SW ¼ / NE ¼ Section 30, Town 42N Range 07W Parcel # 028742301301. 10.00 Acres Zoned F-1 request changes to RR-1 to split lot to sell the house and build a new structure and comply with current use.
The meeting was called to order by Hucker at approximately 6:00 p.m. All commission members were in attendance, along with Secretary Tripodi and Zoning Administrator Olson. The notice was published in the Sawyer County Record on 2-20-2019, and 2-27-2019. Tim Swift was delayed so the Plan Commission started its regular month meeting.
Tim Swift gave testimony that the proposed rezone is for a buffer between the house that he is selling, and the house that they will be building on 5 acres bought off Pederson Rd. The overall intent will be to combine the two lots into one. The parcel will touch other RR-1 parcels, so it will not be spot zoned. Olson noted that out of the five opinion letters sent out two no-objection letters were received.
After further discussion a motion was made by Mazik and 2nd by Brandt to make a recommendation to the Town Board that Parcel # 028742301301. 10.00 Acres Zoned F-1 be changed to RR-1. Motion Carried 5-0.
